Click "Zoom" to study details. - Series: "Flags for Illustrtor" - File format: Origingal Adobe .ai - Symbols Palette: This flags symbol palette comes ready for integration into your symbols palette of Adobe Illustrator. Opon opening the file, it automatically generates a Symbol Palette which is immediately available on your desktop. Make sure you have marked "Symbols" under "Window". You now see an empty document on your desktop and your sample flags in the symbols palette. Just a mouse-click away! All 286 flags are clearly and alphabetically arranged in one palette and immediately available in Illustrator for all your documents, just like any other symbol. This is the big advantage of the symbols palette. With only one mouse click you can select, take from the palette and use any flag right away. And while hovering over a map with your curser you get the country name shown in a little pop-up window. (only available in Illustrator CS2 or later)

The flag content and colours (the latter now represent the official CMYK values!) all represent the official specifications of the respective country, including the diverse shape and sizes of the flags. - Waving flags: As you can use all relevant functions of Adobe Illustrator, you may want to add a drop shadow or create a waving flag. Drag a flag symbol onto your desktop and “Break Link to Symbol” after right-clicking the flag. Now select “Effect” from the menu bar and “Warp /Flag”... You find a few flying flag samples in the free trial-flag-sample. EDITING AND ADAPTING THE FLAGS: You acquire professional vector flags which may be scaled without loss of quality. In fact all elements of the flags may be altered just like the popular digital maps from data2map.
