flagID: EU-FLAG-320 - Content: National flags of all european independent countries and some dependencies, including many official flags with additional emblems and civil ensigns. All flags are in the official colours and include symbols and text. The country names in the palette are in German, sorting is done alphabetically. - Details and Design: as shown in the clippings and original flags above, acquired flags do not have the "data2map" watermarks. Click "Zoom" to study details. - Series: "Flags for Illustrator" - File format: pdf, by using Illustrator (from Version CS2) you have maximum editing possibilities. However, any software able to import and edit pdf-formats may be used, e.g. the free vector editor "Inkscape", where text editing may be limited. The flag content and colours (the latter now represent the official CMYK values!) all represent the official specifications of the respective country, including the diverse shape and sizes of the flags. - Waving flags: As you can use all relevant functions of Adobe Illustrator, you may want to add a drop shadow or create a waving flag. Select “Effect” from the menu bar and “Warp /Flag”... voilà. You find a few flying flags in the free sample. EDITING AND ADAPTING THE FLAGS: Prior to editing a flag you have to remove the "key-lock" in the layers palette of the respective flag. After unlocking the layer you are ready to copy and edit the flag without restrictions. If you remove all key-locks in the layers palette, then the cursor automatically jumps to the respective layer and shows the country name, once a map has been selected on the desktop. You acquire professional vector flags which may be scaled without loss of quality. In fact all elements of the flags may be altered just like the popular digital maps from data2map. LAYERS AND GROUPS: All 'Flags for Illustrator' are grouped and can be edited with a single mouse-click! To edit a flag ungroup beforehand.
